Enroll Face
Select the
from the system tray.
Select 
You should be able to see the live video from your camera to capture your face for registration. If the live video is not visible, try to plug the camera, close and reopen this page. Place your face in the frame.
Press Capture button to take a picture.
During the face capture, the system indicates if you are too close, too far from the camera, out of frame in the camera or if the eyes are well found (normal eyes quality, poor eyes quality or good eyes quality)
When the photo is captured, it will take you to a page to adjust your facial feature points. Press Recapture if you think the photo is not good.
Click through your feature points and adjust accordingly to the example shown on each tab pages.

Press Save to save the enrollment.
*Additional photos can be taken for a different environment (e.g. home/office) As a simple recommendation and if you are using a laptop, you can take additional pictures in the different regular environments you use (e.g. home/office). It will make your verification faster in these scenarios.

Security Level Configuration
Select 
The level of security of the face logOn can be adjusted according to your needs through the Preference page:
Easy Access : It is very easy for you to open the system but a person looking close to your face can get in.
Higher Security : It is very difficult for an intruder to get in but it might require you to perform more than one attempt to logon.
Press
to validate the security changes and press
to close the Preference page and go back to the Main Menu.

Face LogOn activation
In order to use the system, you should select the activate face logon menu from the system tray and press yes to restart the computer.
You can then press the Ctrl-Alt-Delete sequence to display the Security Options Dialog or use the system tray icon.
You can then select to lock the session on this computer for the current windows user, shutdown the computer, log-off the workstation as the current user or switch temporarily to a different user.

User session Lock
You can select the
button from the system tray or the
windows key + L key combination on the keyboard to lock the session or the system tray menu by double clicking the logon icon.
The system can be also automatically locked by selecting the “On resume, display welcome screen” on the screen saver configuration tab of the display properties (Control Panel/ Display properties).

User session log-off
Press the
button on the security options dialog or the
menu on the windows Start menu.
The following dialog should appear:

Press Ok to log-off.

User switching
Select the menu switch user in the system tray.
The user should then be disconnected and the facial recognition window should appear.

Shutdown computer
Press the
button on the Face LogOn System menu dialog or the
menu on the windows Start menu.
The following dialog should appear:

Session Unlock or LogOn
The following screen should appear after a session lock, user log-off, shutdown or user switching.
Select your username in the username list and Look at the camera.
If you cannot logon by face, press Other Credentials and enter your username and password. It is recommended that you enroll your face another time.
If no camera is plugged in or for windows users without face captured who press any key to open the standard username/password log-on dialog, the following dialog should be displayed:

Facial LogOn Deactivation and Uninstallation
Face LogOn can be deactivated temporarily by selecting the Deactivate menu from the system tray.
To remove this feature permanently, select the Add/Remove application from the control panel and remove the Face LogOn application.
